Authentic Mexican! Try the Birria Tacos, they are to die for! Reasonable prices and friendly service. The location could use a facelift, but don't be fooled, it's clean and the food is top notch!

my closest friend came here from fredricksburg va and he never experienced mi casita and he could not stop raving over the staff, the food which he said was the most fresh, authentic tasting food he's ever eaten in 65 years! diego was out waiter and had us feeling so spoiled the entire time. we had such a wonderful time with our waiter joking with us he was a true professional. my friend told diego you must give my highest compliments to your chef and kitchen staff "all i can say is the menu and choices were so large...i will have to come back. i havent left and i cant wait to experience this again...top notch! ty!" ty mi casita! we had an amazing time! if u leave hungry its on u because mi casitas portions are so huge!!! well worth every penny! 100 stars!!!

It had been several, several years since I visited Mi Casita. We were close by craving Mexican and although they are several Mexican restaurants in that area, we decided to come here. And we're so glad we did! We were seated and greeted promptly. I wish I remember our server's name, but she was so sweet and took good care of us. As usual, we were served complimentary chips and salsa, which were fresh and not stale as they are sometimes at other places. I ordered the carne asada and it was well-seasoned. I can't believe I waited so long to come back, but I will definitely be back again soon!

This is the most fantastic Mexican food in Virginia Beach! Everyone who has joined me there over the years has enjoyed the experience, and by word of mouth, they have shared with others. The staff is outgoing and friendly. The prices are reasonable. Bar & lounge services available. Recently remodeled and better than ever. 5 star rating. I Highly recommend!

This place has a special place in our hearts as it was one of our weekly places to eat way back in the 90's! So happy to see it still here! The inside is decorated with beautiful hand painted murals that makes you feel you are sitting at someone's house in Mexico - thus Mi Casita in the name. The food was delicious. We started with their freshly made gauc - the chunks of avocado were to die. They should have served it with some cut limes on the plate as it needed that little extra. The Fajitas were very good - peppers/onions could have used a little bit more salt or seasoning but overall delicious! The Rancheros Enchiladas - well this is a dish our family loves and we are extremely picky with and they nailed it!! The best one we have found ...oh wait could it be ...since the 90's!! The chimichanga- crispy crunchy on the outside and moist chicken deliciousness on the inside! Their refried beans are top notch in flavor as well as texture. So so yummy! So glad we made it back again and this time with our 22 year old son who we got to share our stories of when your mom and dad were first dating.....thank you Mi Casita for still being as good as we remember! Hope to be back soon!
